Men’s Soccer Set to Participate in Open Training Week

CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati men's soccer will take part in United Soccer Coaches Open Training Week. Coaches of all levels are invited to attend the Bearcats' open session on Tuesday, April 2, at Gettler Stadium from 9-11 a.m. ET.

CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati men's soccer will take part in United Soccer Coaches Open Training Week. Coaches of all levels are invited to attend the Bearcats' open session on Tuesday, April 2, at Gettler Stadium from 9-11 a.m. ET.
 
Schedule of events is as follows:
8:30 a.m. – arrive at Gettler Stadium
8:45 a.m. – pre-training "chalk talk" with high school/club coaches
9:00 a.m. – pre-training & video
9:30 a.m. – training begins
11:00 a.m. – training ends
11:15 a.m. – post-training "chalk talk" with high school/club coaches
 
Coaches will be welcome on the sideline for the entirety of the training session and the Bearcats men's soccer coaching staff will engage with high school/club coaches prior and post training. There will also be a Q&A segment. Insights into the UC program and its function behind the scenes will also be provided.
 
Open Training Week is April 1-7 in cities across the country. This nationwide initiative provides an opportunity for coaches from all levels and backgrounds to experience new environments, observe high-level training sessions, and learn from one another. Men's and women's teams at the college and professional levels welcome local soccer coaches in their communities to attend a practice.
