University of Cincinnati baseball resumes American Athletic Conference action this weekend at Marge Schott Stadium in a three-game series with Tulane. The Bearcats are scheduled to take on the Green Wave Friday in a double header starting at 2 p.m. and Sunday finale at noon.
 
// WEEKEND PROMOTIONS
Retro coasters will be given away to the first 500 fans at the game on Friday, presented by Formica
• Every Friday $2 beers will be available at the concession stand
• The craft beer garden will be open for Saturday and Sunday's games
• Saturday will also be signature Saturday with members of the team signing autographs on the concourse after the game
• Sunday is another Family Fun Day where four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas can be purchased for $20

// SCOUTING THE OPPONENT
Tulane is 17-8 overall this season and is yet to play a conference game
• The Green Wave won five in a row before dropping a 7-6 contest this past Tuesday at Louisiana-Lafayette
• They swept Houston Baptist last weekend, winning 6-2, 3-2 in eleven innings and 3-1 in the finale
• Tulane ranks seventh in the nation in double plays and is 15th in double plays per game
• The team is also eighth in doubles and ranks fifth in the nation in homeruns with 36 already this season
• The Green Wave's slugging percentage of .516 is the third-highest in the country
• UC opened conference play last year in New Orleans, dropping the first two games 5-3 and 8-7 before winning the third 1-0
• The Bearcats are 11-43 all-time against the Green Wave
• The last series victory for UC against Tulane came on the road in 2016
 
// ON THE RISE
• The Bearcats have posted some nice stats in the past four games, in which they have won three of four contests
A.J. Bumpass has been a big part, smashing three homeruns to post a slugging percentage of .875 in his last 16 at-bats
Jeremy Johnson and Wyatt Stapp have hit better than .400 in the last four games with six walks and six runs scored between them
• Once on, UC is 16-for-18 in stolen base attempts with six of those swipes coming by Johnson, Joey Wiemer picking up four in five attempts and Jace Mercer going a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen bags
• Relievers Nathan Moore, Clayton Colvin and Korren Thompson all have zero ERAs in their last two appearances
• Thompson has two saves in the last four games while Moore has earned two wins
Garrett Schoenle was named the AAC Pitcher of the Week for his outstanding performance last Sunday, pitching 8.1 innings with one run, four hits and 12 strikeouts

• Season tickets for all home games this season are available by calling 1-877-CATS-TIX, logging on to GoBearcats.com or by visiting the ticket office located at Richard E. Lindner Center in Varsity Village
• Tickets are only $50 for adults and $30 for seniors (65 and older) and youth (aged 4-12)
• UC students receive free admission to all games with a valid ID
• Single game tickets may also be purchased for any game set to be played at Marge Schott Stadium this season
• A flex plan option is available, allowing fans to purchase ten undated vouchers for $35
