TicketsJACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of Cincinnati women's golf wrapped play at the sixth annual UNF Collegiate Tuesday with junior Alyssa Burritt (Bellbrook, Ohio/Bellbrook) leading the way with a final-round 74 to finish in a tie for 18th.
As a team, the Bearcats finished in a tie for 13th following a final-round 304 against a tough field of competition at Jacksonville Golf & Country Club.
After carding two rounds totaling 147 on Monday – including an opening-round 71 – Burritt fired a 74 on Tuesday, featuring three birdies. As a result, the junior moved up from a tie for 23rd yesterday to a tie for 18th today.
Sophomore Angela Lopez (Bogotá, Colombia) finished strong as well with a third-round 74 – featuring a pair of birdie scores – to slide into a tie for 34th on the player leaderboard.
Rounding out the Red & Black scoring team, sophomore Vanessa Manrique (Bogotá, Colombia) shot a 77 on Tuesday, while senior Anika Hitt (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) and freshman Lily Rinker (Toledo, Ohio/Saint Ursula Academy) each turned in scores of 79.
UC will be back in action March 15-17 at the Notre Dame Clover Cup in Mesa, Arizona.

We threw away some shots in the middle of the round, but were able to finish strong at the end. We have some good things to work on before we head to the Clover Cup.
