// SCOUTING THE BLUE RAIDERS
Middle Tennessee rides in to town on a two-match win streak, but they stumbled out the gates to start the season. After opening the season 1-6, the Blue Raiders grabbed hold of the reigns and raced past UT Martin and Murray State before stumbling against Furman. They got right back up in the saddle as they swept North Alabama 7-0, were corralled by San Diego in a 6-1 loss, but turned around and bucked off San Diego State in a 4-3 victory. Their last five matches which includes being trampled by the Marshall Thunder Herd, tamed the Tulane Green Wave, led to the hitching post by the Charlotte 49ers and the aforementioned two-match win streak over ETUS and UAB.
The Blue Raiders are led by Luisa Zirilli who holds a 10-6 record in singles play this season, including a 6-5 mark on court #5. Constanza Magazzini has spent the most time on court #1, holding a 5-7 record, for MTSU and holds an overall singles record of 7-8. Marta Peris Herrero enters the match on a five-match win streak and holds a season record of 7-3 with all matches having been played on court #6.
MTSU's top doubles duo is Costanza Magazzini and Zani Barnard who hold a 5-3 record with all matches being played on the #1 court, but they have lost their last three matches. The duo of Lidia Burrows and Marta Peris Herrero enter the match on a two-match doubles win streak and hold an overall record of 5-5 with a 4-5 record on court #3.
// COACH TOTH ON MTSU
"We've got to be ready to play. Middle Tennessee is one of those teams that you can't pay attention to their record. It doesn't jump out to you, but they play a super tough schedule. I'm pretty familiar with their team, one through six they're very good. They're going to play solid doubles and we are going to have to play well to win, anything less than that isn't going to get it done. It'll be nice on Senior Day with a little extra incentive to get the win, but I'm really looking forward to the match because it's a match that will test us."
