TicketsBearcats baseball is back in American Athletic Conference action this weekend as it hosts UCF for a three-game series at Marge Schott Stadium.

• At the beginning of the week, the AAC ranked fifth in the nation in RPI with five out of nine teams sitting in the top 70
• Nationally-ranked ECU continues to lead the conference with an 8-1 record

• Cincinnati and UConn are tied for third at 5-4 while Wichita State and Memphis follow with records of 3-3
• UCF and Houston are both 3-6 while USF rounds out the standings at 2-7

• UC has won five its last seven games including a 9-5 victory at Ohio State, series victory at No. 22 UConn and 2-1 rivalry win against Xavier
• The Bearcats have hit 24 extra base hits during that span as Eric Santiago and Joey Bellini hold batting averages of .464 and .438, respectively
• On the mound, Nathan Moore has been great, appearing in five games without giving up a run and just four hits in 6.2 innings
• A.J. Kullman, David Orndorff and Drake Batcho have also helped UC to success with ERAs of 3.00 or better in the last seven games
• Prior to committing three errors in the 11-inning loss to Miami, the Bearcats defense only had two errors
