Bearcats baseball is back in American Athletic Conference action this weekend as it hosts UCF for a three-game series at Marge Schott Stadium.

Friday games feature $2 beer specials
• It is also Pennant Day on Friday. Student organizations designed Bearcats pennants to be voted on. The winner will be announced during Friday's game. Click here to vote for the best design
• Saturday is the Bearcats' annual Bark in the Park
• The first 100 canines through the gates will receive a dog leash and bandana courtesy of John Morrell
• Hot dogs will be sold for just $1
• It's also a Signature Saturday with members of the team signing autographs on the concourse postgame
• The craft beer garden will be open on Saturday and Sunday

// CONFERENCE UPDATE
• At the beginning of the week, the AAC ranked fifth in the nation in RPI with five out of nine teams sitting in the top 70
• Nationally-ranked ECU continues to lead the conference with an 8-1 record
• Tulane sits in second at 4-2
• Cincinnati and UConn are tied for third at 5-4 while Wichita State and Memphis follow with records of 3-3
• UCF and Houston are both 3-6 while USF rounds out the standings at 2-7
 
// ROLLING RIGHT ALONG
UC has won five its last seven games including a 9-5 victory at Ohio State, series victory at No. 22 UConn and 2-1 rivalry win against Xavier
• The Bearcats have hit 24 extra base hits during that span as Eric Santiago and Joey Bellini hold batting averages of .464 and .438, respectively
• On the mound, Nathan Moore has been great, appearing in five games without giving up a run and just four hits in 6.2 innings
A.J. Kullman, David Orndorff and Drake Batcho have also helped UC to success with ERAs of 3.00 or better in the last seven games
• Prior to committing three errors in the 11-inning loss to Miami, the Bearcats defense only had two errors
 
// LOOKING AHEAD
• UC has three more midweek games at home and another weekend conference series at Marge Schott before the calendar turns to May
• The Bearcats will have a rematch with the RedHawks of Miami next Tuesday at 6 p.m.
• UC will then travel for a Thursday-Saturday series at Houston
• Both Louisville and Eastern Kentucky will visit the week of April 23-24
• Those midweek games will extend into the weekend with a home series against Wichita State

• Tickets are only $50 for adults and $30 for seniors (65 and older) and youth (aged 4-12)
• UC students receive free admission to all games with a valid ID
• Single game tickets may also be purchased for any game set to be played at Marge Schott Stadium this season
• A flex plan option is available, allowing fans to purchase ten undated vouchers for $35
