CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati baseball trailed by four until scoring the final 14 runs of the game late to take a commanding 15-5 victory against Miami at Marge Schott Stadium Tuesday night.

• UC inches toward .500 as the team is now 17-19 on the year
• The loss was Miami's seventh of the season as it falls to 29-7
• Drake Batcho gave up four runs on three hits in the first 3.0 innings before the bullpen followed with 6.0 frames with no earned runs
• Andrew Noelker was the first to enter in relief and earned his first collegiate victory after going 3.0 innings with three hits, one walk and four strikeouts
• A.J. Kullman, Nick Murray and Korren Thompson all followed with an inning each
• Joey Wiemer continued to swing a hot bat with a 3-for-4 night with a homerun, double, four runs scored and two RBI
• Joey Bellini also remained consistent at the plate, having another 2-for-4 night with two runs

• UC got one run back when Wiemer walked and stole two bases, allowing him to come home easily on a base hit by Mason DeAnna

• The RedHawks were able to score again on a solo homerun, double, wild pitch and ground out

• The game took a complete turn with a four-run fifth by the Bearcats to tie it up. Bellini started the rally with a single before Wyatt Stapp walked and Wiemer singled to load the bases. Eric Santiago sent a run home on a sacrifice fly. A.J. Bumpass followed that with a single up the middle to score one and another run was able to score when Bumpass got caught in a rundown but was able to land safely at second base. That put him in position to score during the next at-bat when Murphy singled to right center field

• A big seven-run frame decided the game. Johnson and Jace Mercer started it off with singles before Bellini walked to load the bases. The Bearcats got some help as a fielder's choice by Stapp resulted in a run and an additional run was able to score and everyone was safe on a fielding error. Wiemer then doubled to left field to score Bellini and put two runners in scoring position. After a walk to Santiago to load the bases, patience at the plate paid off. Bumpass walked, Murphy was hit, Johnson walked and Mercer walked to all earn RBIs and keep the base runners rotating, resulting in a 12-5 advantage
Bottom of the 7th
• The Bearcats posted a final three-run inning in the seventh. Wiemer hit a no-doubt homerun to left field. Later on, Bumpass walked, Murphy singled and J.P Bitzenhofer singled to load the bases. Johnson earned two RBI on a base hit to left field
