TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati baseball had a nice bounce back win Wednesday night against Eastern Kentucky in a 5-2 victory.
Back-to-back homeruns by Mitch Holding and Jeremy Johnson in the fifth ignited a scoring surge while the Bearcats bullpen locked down the win.

• Drake Batcho started the game on the mound, giving up one run on one hit in 2.2 frames

After walks to Wiemer and A.J. Bumpass, Griffin Merritt earned a RBI by being hit by a pitch, putting the score at 5-1

• The Colonels got one run back on a single, two walks and another base hit, but Murray limited the damage as he entered the game with bases loaded and two outs and conjured a strikeout looking
