University of Cincinnati baseball travels to Memphis for its final American Athletic Conference series of the season.
 
Friday's game has been moved up to a 2 p.m. EST start time. Saturday's game is set for 3 p.m. and the final on Sunday will begin at 1 p.m.

// OPPONENT OVERVIEW
• UC is 44-65 all-time versus Memphis
• The Bearcats swept the Tigers at home last season, winning 10-2, 7-2 and 8-7
• The two teams met seven times in 2017, including a ten-inning game in the AAC Tournament where the Bearcats saw their season come to an end in a heart-breaking 15-14 defeat
• Memphis sits in sixth place in the AAC standings at 8-9 and is 25-22 overall on the year
• The Tigers beat Arkansas Pine Bluff 11-10 on Tuesday and fell 10-9 at Mississippi State on Wednesday
• Last weekend, Memphis took the series against USF, dropping the first game 10-7 but rebounding with a double header sweep on Sunday

• Just two weekends remain in the regular season before the top eight American Athletic Conference teams travel down to Clearwater, Florida for the 2019 tournament
• UC remains in third place with a 11-10 record
• Tulane has a two game lead at 10-7 while Houston and UConn are both a half game back of UC with 9-9 records
• The Bearcats hold the tie-breaker over UConn but do not over Houston or Tulane
• ECU continues its steady conference lead at 16-2
• This weekend, ECU travels to Wichita State, Tulane goes to Houston and UConn hosts USF
• While the Bearcats have a bye in the final regular season weekend, ECU will host Memphis, Tulane hosts UConn and Houston will make the trip to UCF

The Bearcats will finish the regular season at Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, on Saturday, May 18 vs Xavier
• The two teams will play after the completion of the Reds' 4:10 game against the Dodgers
• Anyone with a ticket to the Reds game that day can remain for the UC-XU game for free
• Fans that come for only the college game will not be ticketed
• UC plays Xavier at home on Thursday, May 16 before the two teams face in a neutral-site matchup on Friday at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio
 
// TOURNAMENT DETAILS
• The top eight of nine teams in the conference will qualify for the AAC Tournament held Tuesday, May 21 through Sunday, May 25 at Spectrum Field in Clearwater, Florida
• The tournament's schedule has been modified for this season
• All eight teams will play on Tuesday with the losers of those four games facing off in elimination games on Wednesday
• The winners of Tuesday's contests will have Wednesday off and play each other on Thursday
• Games continue on Friday with two more elimination games
• Saturday will be semifinal action before the championship game held at noon on Sunday
