CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati baseball gave up one big inning to No.8 ECU on Sunday afternoon that resulted in a 6-2 loss for the Bearcats.
Eight senior student-athletes and two student managers were honored prior to the game and recognized for their dedication to the program.

• Starter Clayton Colvin retired the first nine batters he faced, then after giving up a single, got a double play
• The senior suffered the loss after 4.2 innings with six hits, four runs, two walks and two strikeouts
• Fellow senior A.J. Kullman followed in relief, throwing the next 2.1 frames
• Nathan Moore gave up just one hit and struck out one through the final 2.0 innings
• Joey Wiemer was 2-for-4 on the day and made another ridiculous move to steal a base and set up the game's first run
• Cole Murphy and Wyatt Stapp each had an RBI

• Wiemer started the scoring with a single in the second, stole a bag then scored on a base hit by Murphy
Bottom of the 3rd
• UC scored another run when Eric Santiago walked and came in to score on a double by Stapp
Top of the 5th
• ECU did its damage in a five-run fifth. A single and walk followed by a sacrifice bunt put two in scoring position with one out. A sacrifice fly scored the first run for the Pirates. After an intentional walk to put runners on first and second with two outs, a base hit tied the game. Another single and a two-run homerun put the score at 6-2
