TicketsPROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference (AAC) announced its 2019-20 women's basketball pairings on Tuesday.
The AAC's 12 members will play a 16-game schedule with each team playing five of its 11 opponents twice, and six opponents once each – three at home and three away.
The Bearcats' single-game matchups include home-only contests against ECU, Temple, and Tulsa, with away-only tilts at Memphis, SMU, and Wichita State. UC will face the remaining league opponents twice over the course of the conference season -- once at home and once on the road.
All 12 teams will compete in the 2020 American Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Championship at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The Championship is set to return to Mohegan Sun Arena for the seventh-straight year, with dates set for March 6-9, 2020.
Five American teams – UCF, Cincinnati, UConn, Houston, and USF - reached the postseason in 2018-19, highlighted by UConn reaching its 12th-consecutive Final Four.
