// SET BREAKDOWN
Set 1: UC 25-19
The Bearcats got out to an early lead with a kill from Mallon and two from Damjana Cabarkapa. Two more Mallon kills and one from Thompson made it an 8-3 advantage. The lead grew to 18-12 when Heckenmueller dropped in two kills, forcing a Indiana State timeout. Late kills by Cabarkapa and Karoline Fauske made it set point before an error gave UC the win

Set 2: UC 25-21
Once again UC came out strong, starting the set with a Mallon kill and following that with a Heckenmueller ace. Chrysanthi Stamatiou put together her own 3-0 streak with a block and two kills to take a 7-2 lead. The Sycamores put the deficit at four, but the Bearcats opened the lead back up with an Oliver, Mallon and Stametiou kill. Indiana State worked back to make it a 21-19 set before Mallon and Thompson kept the team in front with kills. The offense remained tough as kills from Stamatiou and Thompson ended the set.

Set 3: UC 25-11
It was all Bearcats in set three. The team went up 8-2 after 6-0 scoring run, brought in part by two Stamatiou aces and two Oliver kills. Mallon had three kills nearly in a row with only a kill by Thompson inbetween to break up her streak as UC surged ahead 14-5. The Bearcats reached twenty points quickly, leading 20-7. Indiana State was able to add in a few more points, but the final three would come from UC on an Oliver kill, Thompson ace and Mallon kill to complete the sweep.
