// OPPONENT OVERVIEW
• UC is 6-9 all-time against UCF
• The Knights won the conference title last year while UC finished in second. The two teams received the same preseason ranking in the AAC coaches poll prior to the 2019 season
• Last year, the Bearcats fell in five sets in both the home and away matches. The latter match was played on the road when the Knights were ranked No. 22 in the nation
• Both teams have received votes in the weekly AVCA top-25 poll throughout this season and both have knocked-off ranked teams
• The Bearcats last beat the Knights in the first meeting of 2017, taking a 3-0 victory on the road at the beginning of the AAC season
• UCF opened conference play with home match sweeps against UConn and Temple
• UC is 22-13 all-time against USF
• The Bearcats swept the Bulls in both meetings last season
• UC also swept USF in the first conference match of 2017 before the Bulls came back and won in five later in the year
• Both meetings in 2016 were also UC 3-0 victories
• The Bulls started conference play with a 3-0 win at home against Temple before falling in straight sets to UConn

// HOME SWEET HOME
• The Bearcats have played phenomenally since returning to the newly-renovated Fifth Third Arena last November
• The team is 7-1 with the only loss coming against nationally-ranked Louisville, a thrilling five-set match that could have easily gone to either team
• Perhaps more impressive, six of those seven wins were in straight-sets for a 23-5 set record
• Going back to the 2016 season, UC won its final three matches prior to the arena undergoing renovation. All three of those matches were 3-0 victories
• The Bearcats finished the 2016 home season with a set record of 13-3 in the final five matches of the former arena
• Therefore, in the previous 13 matches played on UC's campus, the Bearcats are 11-2 with a 36-8 set record

// NATIONAL RANKINGS
• UC's high-powered offense has proven to be one of the best in the nation so far this season
• The Bearcats are ranked sixth in kills per set, seventh in assists per set, eighth in hitting percentage and 20th in aces per set
• Individually, Jordan Thompson is first in points per set and second in kills per set
Armania Heckenmueller sits at tenth in the country in assists per set
