The American Athletic Conference announced its first weekly winners for the 2019-20 season on Tuesday with University of Cincinnati's Claire Schuermann being named Women's Diver of the Week.
Schuermann won both of her events to start the season last Friday at Indianapolis. She started with a 276.07 on 1-meter and followed that with a 255.80 on 3-meter. Schuermann was named the AAC Women's Diver of the Week numerous times last season and was the 2018 Women's Diver of the Year at the AAC Championships, her first season with the Bearcats.
