CINCINNATI - The American Athletic Conference announced its weekly honors for women's soccer with University of Cincinnati freshman Han Tang being named to the Honor Roll after she bagged another brace to help the Bearcats to a 4-2 win over Tulsa Sunday afternoon. The win helped the Bearcats move to 3-1-0 in league play, placing them in a tie for second on the table with nine points.

// WOO TANG!
Heading into the match, the Bearcats had not scored in five home matches this year. Tang snapped that streak with a goal in the 14' as she flicked a ball bouncing between her and the Tulsa keeper into the net for a 1-0 lead. Then, just 4:18 later, Tang took a pass from Morgan Jackson in front of the goal and one-timed a shot into the net for her second of the game. Tang leads the team in scoring with 10 points on five goals and has scored two goals in a game twice this year after netting her first collegiate brace at Lipscomb in a 3-2 win.

With Tang's selection this week, UC has garnered nine awards from the AAC in 2019. Madison Less has twice been named the goalkeeper of the week to go along with her back-to-back Honor Roll awards while Tang is now a two-time Honor Roll recipient after first earning the honor September 16. Camryn Hartman (9/30) and Vanessa DiNardo (8/26) have also been selections to the Honor Roll this season. Ashley Barron earned her first career accolade from the AAC and the first defensive honor since the 2017 season.
