The American Athletic Conference once again recognized University of Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson as she earned a spot on this week's Honor Roll.
Thompson led the conference as she averaged 5.67 kills per set while hitting .400 in two match sweeps at UConn and at Temple this past weekend. She also averaged 3.00 digs per set with two service aces and a block. Friday night at UConn, Thompson had 15 kills on .433 hitting in an easy 3-0 win. She improved to 19 kills in the three-set victory at Temple on Sunday with ten digs to record a double-double.
Through seven weeks this season Thompson has been named either the Offensive Player of the Week or has landed on the Honor Roll every week. She leads the nation in kills, points, kills per set and points per set. She is currently averaging 6.20 kills per set on the season and 7.00 kill per set through six conference matches.
