CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati sophomore Sam Jean (Greenwood, Ind./Center Grove HS) carded a 1-over par 70-75=145 Monday to tie for 10th place after the first two rounds of the Crook Stick Invitational at the Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind.
Jean recorded par or better scores on 28 holes on the day with eight birdies. His 2-under 70 score for the morning round placed him into a tie for sixth before he slipped four slots on the leaderboard following a 3-over 75 result in the afternoon.
Jean is tied with four other players, nine strokes behind tournament leader Tyler Leach of Marquette, who carded an 8-under 68-68=136.

Lenhart posted a 13-over 78-79=157 result while Harris registered a 13-over 80-77=157 score. Junior Nicolas Osterburg (Indianapolis, Ind./Perry Meridian HS) tied for 74th place at 17-over 83-78=161.
Georgia leads the team standings at 4-under 283-289=572. Cincinnati is 14th at 37-over 305-308=613.
