SARASOTA, Fla. – University of Cincinnati women's golf senior Alyssa Burritt (Bellbrook, Ohio/Bellbrook) notched the fifth top-10 finish of her career Tuesday with a final-round, 1-over-par 73 to place in a tie for 10th at the 42nd FIU Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club.
As a team, the Bearcats shot 300 or better for the sixth-consecutive round to finish in a tie for eighth place.
Continuing the momentum, Burritt went 1-over on the front-nine holes and tallied a pair of birdies on the back to move into a tie for 10th place.
Senior Daniela Murcia (Bogotá, Colombia) matched Burritt for UC's best score of the day with a 73 (+1), highlighted by a trio of birdies on the back nine, to place in a tie for 41st.
Junior Angela Lopez (Bogotá, Colombia) holed a birdie on the front nine and followed with seven pars on the back to bring her three-day total to 227.
Freshmen Paighton Masterson (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon Lake) and Natalia Sompolvorachai (Columbus, Ohio/Olentangy Orange) ended play in 57th and a tie for 58th, respectively, with two birdie scores combined.
The Bearcats will be back in action Nov. 4-5 at the Mercer Idle Hour Collegiate Championship to close the fall season.
