University of Cincinnati volleyball is set to host Temple on Friday at 7 p.m. and UConn on Sunday at noon. Sunday's match will be Senior Day with lone senior Jordan Thompson honored in a post-match ceremony.

• Fans can purchase popcorn for $1 at the concession stand on Friday
• Hot dogs will be sold for $1 on Sunday
• Fans can take a picture with USA Volleyball gear by the Fans First Center of Fifth Third Arena as part of Senior Day festivities on Sunday
• There will also be special giveaways, video features and a post-match ceremony to honor Jordan Thompson

• The Bearcats beat both of this weekend's opponents on the road earlier this season in match sweeps
• UC is 8-9 all-time against Temple
• The Owls are 11-10 overall and are 2-8 in conference play
• Their two conference wins came at home against ECU and Wichita State
• Last season the Bearcats swept the Owls on the road
• In 2017, the Owls won on home court by a score of 3-1
• The two teams split in 2016 with UC losing 0-3 at home before a 3-2 victory in Philadelphia

• Friday and Sunday's two matches wrap up a busy week at home for the Bearcats
• UC started the current homestand with a 3-0 sweep of Memphis last Friday and a 3-0 win of SMU on Sunday
• The Bearcats hosted Dayton for a regional rivalry match on Wednesday night
• UC won 3-1
• The win marks the first time since the 2006 and 2008 seasons that UC has taken down Dayton in back-to-back meetings
• The Bearcats won on the road last season 3-2

Jordan Thompson has already cemented herself as one of the best to ever step on the court for the University of Cincinnati
• The two-time AVCA All-American, two-time unanimous AAC Player of the Year and 2015 AAC Freshman of the Year is well on her way to repeating All-America and conference accolades this season
• After leading the nation in kills, points, kills per set and points per set as a junior in 2018, she continues to sit atop the country in the same four categories this year
• Thompson has already become the UC and AAC record holder for career kills, single-season kills and single-match kills
• She is set to become the only player in UC history to finish her career averaging 5.00 kills pet set or more, as she enters the weekend at a career 5.29 mark
• With 2,376 career kills, Thompson is on pace to become just the ninth player in NCAA Division I history to reach 2,500 kills in her career
