University of Cincinnati swimming and diving remains at Keating Aquatic Center this Friday for a dual meet versus IUPUI. Diving starts at 4 p.m. with swimming following at 6 p.m.
 
// THE COMPETITION
• IUPUI is off to a 1-1 start this season
• The team opened up against Indianapolis with the men losing 104-158 and the women falling 189-72
• The Jaguars then rebounded against Western Illinois. The men won that meet by a score of 185-39 while the women won 177-52
• The Bearcats traveled to Indianapolis for a dual meet last season, winning 158.5-141.5 on the men's side and 181-119 on the women's
• UC also competed at IUPUI's House of Champions invite in 2018. Both teams captured the event title
 
// LAST TIME OUT 
• UC is coming off its third dual sweep as both teams beat Denison in the 2019-20 home-opener last Saturday
• The men won 22-7-72 while the women won 226.5-73.5
• For her efforts in the meet, Claire Schuermann was named the AAC Women's Diver of the Week on Tuesday
• It was her third honor in as many weeks to start the season

• The Bearcats have put forth some of the best times in the conference so far this season
• Dominic Polling has the third-best time in the 50 free, the second-best time in the 100 free, 100 breast and 200 IM
• Din Selmanovic currently leads the conference in the 200 free and 500 free
• Michael Balcerak is third in the 200 free and 200 fly and second in the 100 fly
• Toby Van Dyke ranks second in the 500 free and leads in the 1000 free
• Tyler Jones is third in the 1000 free
Blake Hanna has the best time in the 50 back and is third in the 100 back and 200 back
• Joey Puglessi ranks third in the 50 back
• Parker Saladin has the second-fastest time in the 200 fly
• In diving, Dylan Porter has the second-highest 1-meter and 3-meter scores so far
• Lina Kutsko is the fastest in the 50 free so far this season and is second in the 100 fly
• Rocky Laabs' 1000 free time is the second-fastest
• Camryn Streid is third in the 400 IM
• Schuermann ranks second in 1-meter and is third in 3-meter diving

• The Bearcats return the trip to IUPUI Nov. 22-24 for the House of Champions invite
• Last season, UC's men and women won the event while breaking numerous meet records
