MACON, Ga. – University of Cincinnati women's golf is set to close the 2019 fall season Monday – Tuesday at the Mercer Idle Hour Collegiate Championship at Idle Hour Golf & Country Club.
Looking to continue the momentum of six-consecutive rounds of 300 or better, the Bearcats will face a talented field in Georgia in its final event of 2019.
The two-day tournament hosted by Mercer features 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Play will begin both days with 8 a.m. ET shotgun starts. Live scoring and results will be available through BirdieFire.
The 16-team field features host Mercer, Cincinnati, Seton Hall, Georgia State, James Madison, Radford, UNCG, Georgia Southern, Troy, Boise State, Southern Miss, Daytona State, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Lamar, Charlotte, and Western Carolina.

Senior Alyssa Burritt (Bellbrook, Ohio/Bellbrook) notched the fifth top-10 finish of her career on Oct. 22 with a final-round, 1-over-par 73 to place in a tie for 10th at the 42nd FIU Pat Bradley Invitational at Lakewood Ranch Golf & Country Club in Sarasota, Florida. As a team, the Bearcats tied for eighth place out of 17 teams. Continuing the momentum, Burritt went 1-over on the front-nine holes and tallied a pair of birdies on the back to move into a tie for 10th place. Senior Daniela Murcia (Bogotá, Colombia) matched Burritt for UC's best score of the day with a 73 (+1), highlighted by a trio of birdies on the back nine, to place in a tie for 41st.
