CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati football team earned its highest-ever ranking in a College Football Playoff poll Tuesday, checking in at No. 20.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati football team earned its highest-ever ranking in a College Football Playoff poll Tuesday, checking in at No. 20.
 
The Bearcats (7-1, 4-1 AAC), ranked No. 17 in both the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls this week, were placed ahead of three AAC foes, No. 21 Memphis, No. 24 Navy and No. 25 SMU. UC was previously No. 24 in the CFP ranks on Nov. 13, 2018, the Bearcats first appearance in the CFP Top-25.
 
UC celebrates a Boldly Bearcat Homecoming on Saturday vs. UConn at 3:30 p.m. ET inside Nippert Stadium. The Bearcats enter on a six-game winning streak in 2018 and an 11-game streak at home. 
 
UC won a thriller at ECU on Saturday, Nov. 2 when K Sam Crosa split the uprights with a 32-yard field goal as time expired to cap a 46-43 win after UC trailed by 12 entering the fourth quarter. UConn enters at 2-7 (0-5 AAC) and have dropped seven of their last eight contests. 
 
The game will be televised by CBS Sports Network and air on 700 WLW AM.
 
TICKET INFORMATION
Single-game tickets are available for all remaining home games. The Football Flex Pack (five ticket vouchers) is $155 and group tickets for outings of 20 or more start at $24.
