PROVIDENCE, R.I. – A pair of University of Cincinnati men's soccer student-athletes collected American Athletic Conference (AAC) postseason honors Tuesday with senior defender Donovan Segree (Kingston, Jamaica/Jamaica College/Daytona State) named Second Team All-Conference, while redshirt freshman Mo Williams (West Orange, N.J./West Orange) made the All-Rookie Team.

With both awards selected by the league's head coaches, Segree earned the honor after starting each match of 2019 with more than 1,400 minutes of play. On the season, he scored one goal – the game-winner vs. Bowling Green on Sept. 21 -- and dished out three assists, including one against nationally-ranked SMU on Oct. 26. On the defensive end, the senior aided in two Bearcats shutouts on the year, highlighted by a clean sheet at Tulsa on Oct. 19.

Williams, in his first season of action at UC, was impressive in the back, playing in 16 matches with 15 starts. Logging more than 1,300 minutes, the rookie was integral in the Red & Black defense recording two shutouts in 2019 – including a big 1-0 win at Tulsa early in conference play.

The postseason conference recognitions mark the first time for the Bearcats since David Sanz was tabbed for the AAC Second Team in 2017.
