The American Athletic Conference announced its final weekly awards for the 2019 season with University of Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson named Offensive Player of the Week and Armania Heckenmueller earning a spot on the Honor Roll.

Thompson averaged an even 6.00 kills per set this week with 18 in each match – a sweep at ECU and a sweep against Tulsa. She also added in 11 digs, two blocks and an ace. Her first kill on Sunday was the 2,500th of her career, as she became just the ninth player ever in NCAA Division I history to hit that mark. Thompson continues to lead the nation in kills, kills per set, points and points per set for the second straight season.

Heckenmueller averaged more than 14 assists per set for the second straight week and she had 14.33 in the most recent two matches. Her 45 kills at ECU helped the Bearcats clinch the regular season AAC championship and she followed that with 41 the regular season finale at home against Tulsa. Heckenmueller also averaged 3.67 digs per set and added in three blocks and an ace this past week. She is the country's leader in assists per set.
