University of Cincinnati swimming will look to repeat as winner of the House of Champions this weekend at IUPUI Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24. The divers will be competing at the Mizzou Invitational. 
 
// THE COMPETITION
• IUPUI will host Butler, Eastern Illinois, Green Bay, Illinois, UIC, Indiana, UIndy, Michigan State and Western Illinois
• The divers will compete against Boise State, BYU, Drury, Iowa State, Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming and host Missouri 
 
// DIVING DAY ONE
• UC's divers completed their first day of action on Wednesday with the women competing in 3-meter and the men in 1-meter
• Claire Schuermann had the best finish for the women, placing seventh with a score of 281.00 after a prelims score of 292.55
• Tai Sims also placed seventh, scoring a 250.95, an improvement from his 249.25 prelims
 
// LAST TIME OUT 
• The Bearcats are off to a strong start this season with multiple dual meet sweeps
• UC opened with the men winning at Indianapolis and followed with wins from both the men and women against Miami and Michigan State
• The Bearcats beat Denison in their home-opener before taking down IUPUI at home in the most recent meet
 
// HOUSE OF CHAMPIONS HISTORY
• UC won the House of Champions last season as the women scored an event-high 1773.5 points and the men took the title with 1608 points
• Along with winning, the Bearcats set numerous event records
• The Bearcats hold the meet records for the women's 500 free, men's 200 IM, women's 50 free, women's 400 medley relay, women's 100 fly, women's 800 free relay, men's 800 free relay, women's 1650 free, women's 100 free, women's 200 fly, men's 200 fly, women's 400 free relay and the men's 400 relay
• Many meet record holders remain in action for UC this weekend
 
// LOOKING AHEAD
• After this weekend's events, the Bearcats will finish the fall semester during the first week of December
• Select swimmers will compete at the US Open in Atlanta, Georgia, Wednesday, December 4 through Saturday, December 7
• The rest of the team will travel to the Akron Invite December 6-8
• UC returns home to the Keating Aquatic Center on Friday, January 10 to begin a two-day meet against Kenyon and Oakland
