Dec. 8, 2018 -- Jarron Cumberland scores 19 points and the Musketeers are held to their lowest point total in six years as the Bearcats win 62-47.
March 9, 1949 -- Playing their first home game in series history, Cincinnati knocks off Xavier, 57-46.
March 2, 1961 -- All five Bearcats starters reach double figures in the scoring column en route to an 89-53 win at the Cincinnati Gardens. The Bearcats won their first of back-to-back national titles later that month.
March 3, 1965 -- Cincinnati became the first (and only) team to score more than 100 points in the series at the end of the 1964-65 season, destroying Xavier in a 102-72 final.
Jan. 29, 1992 -- After Bearcat forward Terry Nelson told the media "Xavier doesn't really have a chance," his team went out and proved him right. Cincinnati won 93-75 and reached their sixth Final Four a few months later. [Enquirer photo]
Jan. 17, 1996 -- The 3rd-ranked Bearcats won their 5th of 6 over Xavier behind 40 points and 17 rebounds from sophomore forward Danny Fortson.
Jan. 28, 1999 -- Kenyon Martin's eight points, eight rebounds, and six blocks propel the 5th-ranked Bearcats past the Musketeers.
Dec. 13, 2006 -- Deonta Vaughn and the Bearcats speed past Xavier at home, 67-57, in Mick Cronin's first Shootout.
Jan. 6, 2011 -- Bearcat forward Yancy Gates hauls in 22 points and 14 rebounds as Cincinnati cruises past Xavier at Fifth Third Arena, 66-46.
Jan. 26, 2017 -- Five Bearcats score in double figures, pushing Cincinnati to a 86-78 victory at Fifth Third Arena.
