TicketsCINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati Department of Athletics and the UC Sport Administration program will host its sixth annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD) Celebration on Sunday, Jan. 26.
The event includes a Women In Sports panel where participants will learn about careers in athletics, a sports clinic with Bearcats student-athletes, a UC campus tour, free pizza and admission to the Bearcats women's basketball game against Temple, as well as a $5 meal deal during the game. In addition, UC Athletics Hall of Famer and Olympic Gold Medalist Mary Wineberg will be honored during the game for her contributions to girls and women in sports.
NGWSD is celebrated annually around the country to commemorate the achievements of girls and women in athletics.
