CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati redshirt-senior forward Trevon Scott (Townsend, Ga./McIntosh County Academy) was named to the American Athletic Conference Honor Roll on Monday.
Scott averaged 12.0 points, 10.0 rebounds 4.0 steals and 3.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the Bearcats. He tallied 14 points and a game-high 11 rebounds with four assists and four steals at UCF on Saturday. Earlier in the week, he just missed a double-double, finishing with 10 points, nine rebounds and four steals against Tulsa on Wednesday.
Since the start of AAC play, Scott ranks among the league leaders in seven categories: steals (first at 3.0), rebounds (third at 9.8), defensive rebounds (third at 7.8), field goal percentage (fourth at .600), assists (sixth at 4.3), assist-to-turnover ratio (eighth at 1.9) and blocks (tied for 12th at 1.0) entering the week.
For the season, Scott is averaging 8.8 points, 9.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.6 steals with four double-doubles. He has led the Bearcats in rebounding in 10 games in 2019-20, pulling down as many as 10 boards in seven contests.
