University of Cincinnati swimming and diving hosts its final home meet of the 2019-20 season on Friday as they welcome rival Xavier. Diving is set to begin at 3 p.m. with swimming starting at 5 p.m.
 
// SENIOR DAY
• UC will celebrate its 15 seniors prior to the swimming portion of the meet
• The team will honor George Epsly, Alex Fortman, Blake Hanna, Isaac Karn, Laura Johnston, Tyler Jones, Rocky Laabs, Simone Palomo, Joey Puglessi, Tricia Roscoe, Parker Saladin, Claire Schuermann, Din Selmanovic, Alexandra Wall and Michaela Wheeler for their dedication to the program
 
// CONFERENCE TOP TIMES
• As the regular season is winding down, the Bearcats men rank first in the conference according to CollegeSwimming.com while the women sit third in a close ranking
Murat Sagdullaev ranks third in the 100 free
Kevin Leibold holds the top time in the 500 free
Michael Balcerak is third in 500 free, first in the 50 fly, second in 100 fly and first in the 200 fly
Noah Smith has the fastest 1000 free time and ranks second in 1650 free
Tyler Jones is third in the 1000 free and first in the 1650 free
Alberto Garcia ranks third in the 50 back, 100 back and 100 fly
Joey Puglessi has the second-fastest time in the 100 back and 200 back
Dominic Polling currently sits second in the 100 breast and 200 IM
Parker Saladin has the second-fastest 200 fly time so far this season
Spencer Sehlhorst is second in 400 IM
• UC's men have the fastest 800 free relay time
Rocky Laabs is third in the 500 free and second in the 1000 free while she holds the fastest 1650 time
Jordyn Ryan ranks third in 50 fly
Lina Kutsko is third in the 100 fly
Camryn Streid is second in the 400 IM
• The women rank top three in all five relay events
 
// ROLLING RIGHT ALONG 
• UC had a strong start to the 2019-20 season as the men beat Indianapolis, Miami, Michigan State, Denison and IUPUI
• The women started with a slim loss to Indianapolis but then took down the next four teams
• From there, the Bearcats put forth numerous record-breaking performances at the House of Champions and Zippy Invitational
• Last weekend, UC started the 2020 calendar year wins against Kenyon and Oakland at home
 
// LOOKING AHEAD
• The Bearcats will continue competition on Friday, January 24 at Northwestern
• The final regular season dual meet will be Friday, January 31 at Kentucky
• The 2020 AAC Championships will be held in Houston, Texas, February 19-22
