University of Cincinnati swimming and diving travels to Northwestern for a Friday meet beginning at 3:30 p.m. The Wildcats men are ranked No. 21 in the nation while the women moved up to No. 16 at the beginning of the week.

• The nationally-ranked Wildcats are coming off a dual meet sweep against Iowa
• That meet took place on Saturday after Northwestern dropped a dual meet on the road at Notre Dame
• UC fell 172.5-127.5 on the men's side and 170-129 last season versus Northwestern in the final meet at the Keating Aquatic Center

• UC had a strong start to the 2019-20 season as the men beat Indianapolis, Miami, Michigan State, Denison and IUPUI
• The women started with a slim loss to Indianapolis but then took down the next four teams
• From there, the Bearcats put forth numerous record-breaking performances at the House of Champions and Zippy Invitational
• UC started the 2020 calendar year wins against Kenyon and Oakland at home then celebrated senior day with a big dual sweep over Xavier last Friday
// LOOKING AHEAD
• The final regular season dual meet will be Friday, January 31 at Kentucky. The UK Wildcats are also both nationally-ranked
• The 2020 AAC Championships will be held in Houston, Texas, February 19-22
