- Cincinnati looks for its first true road win of the season Saturday at Tulane after previously falling short at then-No. 18 Ohio State (64-56 on Nov. 6) and at Xavier (73-66 on Dec. 7).
- Chris Vogt ranks sixth in the nation and first in The American, shooting 68.6 percent (70 of 102) from the field. He has shot at least 50 percent from the floor in 12 of 13 games this season while scoring in double figures in 12 consecutive contests. His field-goal shooting percentage currently ranks first in school history for a single season.
- Trevon Scott ranks as one of The American's top rebounders as conference play begins. He was listed among the league's best in rebounds (tied for second at 9.2), offensive rebounds (third at 2.9), defensive rebounds (fourth at 6.3) entering Friday.
- Jarron Cumberland scored 15 points against UConn Wednesday to become only the fourth Bearcat in school history to amass at least 1,500 points and 300 assists for his career joining Oscar Robertson, Steve Logan and Deonta Vaughn.
