University of Cincinnati swimming and diving ends the regular season this Friday at Kentucky. The meet is set to begin at 4 p.m. 
 
// THE OPPONENT
• Both the Wildcats' men and women are nationally ranked in the CSCAA Coaches Poll. The men sit at No. 25 while the women at No. 13
• Last week, the men's team fell 175.5-142.5 at Louisville while the women earned a 160.5-139.5 victory
• Both teams dropped a dual at Ohio State to begin the spring semester in early January
• Cincinnati hosted Kentucky last year in the final regular season meet with the Bearcats falling 156-101 on the men's side and 157-100 on the women's
 
// AWARD WINNERS 
• UC won multiple awards this past week, both in the pool and out
• The Bearcats picked up three of the four weekly conference awards
Claire Schuermann was named the Women's Diver of the Week, Michael Balcerak was the Men's Swimmer of the Week and Lina Kutsko was named the Women's Swimmer of the Week
• Additionally, the team was recognized for its 2019 fall GPA as both the men and women were named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team
• The fall GPAs for both of UC's teams were the second-highest in the conference

• Entering the final weekend of competition before the conference meet, UC's men sit in first place and the women in second according to collegeswimming.com
Murat Sagdullaev ranks third in the 100 free
Kevin Leibold holds the top time in the 500 free and is second in the 1000 free
Michael Balcerak is third in 500 free, first in the 50 fly, second in 100 fly and first in the 200 fly
Noah Smith has the fastest 1000 free time and ranks second in 1650 free
Tyler Jones is first in the 1650 free
Alberto Garcia ranks third in the 50 back and 100 fly
Blake Hanna's fastest 100 back time is second in the conference and he leads in the 200 back
Joey Puglessi has the third-fastest time in the 100 back and 200 back
Dominic Polling currently sits second in the 100 breast and 200 IM
Parker Saladin has the second-fastest 200 fly time so far this season
Spencer Sehlhorst is second in 400 IM
• UC's men have the fastest 800 free relay time
Rocky Laabs is third in the 500 free and first in the 1000 free and 1650 time
Jordyn Ryan ranks third in 50 fly
Lina Kutsko is second in the 100 fly
Camryn Streid is second in the 400 IM
• The women rank top three in all five relay events
 
// LOOKING AHEAD
• The 2020 AAC Championships will be held in Houston, Texas, February 19-22
• The Bearcats men will look to three-peat at the championship meet while the women will look to build on back-to-back runner-up finishes
