- Cincinnati is now 33-5 in the series with Houston, including 17-1 at home.
- The Bearcats have now won four of the last seven meetings.
- The victory pushed the Bearcats to 14-7 overall on the season and 7-2 in conference play. Houston drops to 17-5 and 7-2.
- The win puts the Bearcats in a tie for second-place with Houston, a half game back of Tulsa in the AAC standings.
- Cincinnati improves to 59-4 (.936) in home games played since the start of the 2016-17 season, including a 30-2 (.938) record against AAC teams.
- UC extended its win streak to a season-high four games. The Bearcats have won six of last seven and eight of the last 11.
- The Bearcats recorded 10 blocked shots against Houston the most since posting 10 blocks at home against East Carolina on Jan. 20, 2018.
- Jarron Cumberland finished with 17 points to pass Louis Banks (1,644 points from 1988-91) for ninth place on the UC career scoring list with 1,648 points. He handed a game-high seven assists.
- Trevon Scott finished with 16 points and a game-best 11 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the season his fifth in league action.
- Chris Vogt scored 10 points and a recorded a career-high five blocks.
- Keith Williams scored 12 points, including 10 in the second half.
