TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati football team added an additional four signees on Tuesday, Feb. 5, capping off the highest-ranked signing class in school history.
The Bearcats previously added 16 members to the roster on Dec. 18, 2019 during the NCAA early signing period. UC's class was ranked No. 39 by Rivals.com and No. 40 by 247Sports.com. Both are atop the American Athletic Conference ranks for the sites and both are the highest rankings in school history.
"Today was a great day for us," Head Coach Luke Fickell said. "This is the culmination of a lot of work by our assistant coaches and staff which started in the spring and summer, carried into the early signing period in December and finished up today. It was a really good thing for us to assess our team following the season and the early signing period, evaluate what we wanted and then sign four guys in the last push to make our program better. Our class rankings are the best we've ever had at Cincinnati, but it's still about building and believing in the things we are doing. This class will help us take that next step as a program."
The 20 prospective student-athletes are high school students who signed National Letters of Intent.
Eleven come from the state of Ohio with six of UC's signees come from the State of Cincinnati, the 50-mile radius surrounding campus while 15 come from the 300-mile radius surrounding UC's campus. The class include three four-star recruits, Evan Prater (Cincinnati, Ohio/Wyoming) Jaheim Thomas (Cincinnati, Ohio/Princeton) and Jadon Thompson (Chicago, Ill./Naperville Central), along with 17 three-star prospects.
From a position breakdown, there were five wide receiver/athletes, four offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, three linebackers, two cornerbacks, and a running back, quarterback and tight end.
2020 FOOTBALL TICKETS
The renewal period for 2020 University of Cincinnati football season tickets runs from Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 through March 31, 2020. Fans who renew online early HERE will be eligible for some fantastic renewal-rewards prizes.
The Athletics Ticket Office is now accepting deposits for season tickets in the 2020 season. Any fan who was not a season ticket holder in 2019 should click here to place their deposit for the 2020 season. New season ticket holders who make a deposit will have access to season ticket locations ahead of the general public during the spring 2020 selection window. Deposits are only needed for fans who did not have season tickets in 2019.
New season tickets will be on sale in mid-May, group tickets, mini plans and flex plans will be available for purchase in mid-July and single-game tickets for both home and away games can be bought in early August.
