University of Cincinnati baseball begins its home season with four games at Marge Schott Stadium this weekend. UC host Oakland Friday at 2 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and a Sunday doubleheader starting at noon. Both of Sunday's games will be seven innings.

• Friday will be the first $3 beer promotion of the season and will continue at every Friday home game
• Saturday will be a mini baseball giveaway and all youth 12 years of age and under will get in free
• A hot chocolate special will be offered the concession stand

• Sunday will be the first Family Four Pack game of the year. Fans can purchase four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $20

• Jeremy Johnson has two double and the other triple
• Griffin Merritt has hit a homerun in his last two games, becoming the team leader

• After a midweek contest at Kentucky next Tuesday, the Bearcats come back home to host another weekend series
• Marge Schott Stadium will welcome Eastern Michigan on Friday, March 6 at 4 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
