CINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati junior Keith Williams (Brooklyn, N.Y./Bishop Loughlin Memorial) was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.

Williams averaged a team-high 20.5 points, shooting 60.7 percent (17 of 28) this week in a pair of Bearcats comeback wins. He tallied a career-best 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting with four steals as UC rallied from 13-points down for a 79-67 victory at USF on Tuesday. He posted 11 points – all in the second half – as the Bearcats came back from a 14-point halftime deficit for a 64-63 win on Senior Night Saturday against Temple. 

Williams is averaging 12.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.6 assists this season. 

He scored in double figures in 13 of 18 league games and ranked among the AAC's best in free throw percentage (fourth at .833), field goal percentage (11th at .437), blocks (tied for 13th at 0.8) and points (tied for 15th at 12.7) during conference action.
This marks the first conference honor for Williams in his career.

The Bearcats will play Friday at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN2 in quarterfinals action against the winner of Thursday's UCF-USF first-round matchup.
