The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced its 2019-20 All-American teams. University of Cincinnati's Lina Kutsko, Tricia Roscoe and Claire Schuermann all earned All-American accolades.
The CSCAA modified its selection criteria considering the unprecedented circumstances impacting the NCAA Championship events. Swimmers that qualified for the NCAA Championships and divers that qualified for NCAA Zones received recognition.
Kutsko became an All-American in the 100 fly as she became the first Bearcats woman to qualify for the NCAA postseason since Jackie Keire in 2017. Kutsko holds the UC record in the 100 fly, breaking her own record at the 2020 AAC Championships, coming to the wall in 52.20.
Roscoe earned All-American honors in platform diving. She posted her best score of the season during the prelims of the conference championships, scoring a 240.30.
Schuermann reached All-American status in platform and 3-meter. In the senior day meet against Xavier to end the regular season, she scored a 311.32 on 3-meter and then followed with a season-best 201.50 on platform at the AAC Championships.
Keire was the last UC All-American, achieving the feat in the 200 free at the 2017 NCAA Championships. She was a honorable mention All-American in 2015 and 2016.
