CLEVELAND – The National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) has announced that University of Cincinnati Director of Compliance Grace Kroner has received the 2020 Rising Star Award.
The Rising Star Award recognizes young compliance professionals who are considered to be emerging leaders within the field. Kroner was one of two honorees selected.
Kroner joined the compliance team at Cincinnati as a graduate assistant in 2016-17. She then earned a full-time role as compliance coordinator before being promoted once again as a director of compliance. In her current role, Kroner oversees the day-to-day compliance for women's basketball, women's golf, lacrosse, track and field and cross country.
A Cincinnati native, Kroner earned a bachelor's degree at Temple University in sports and recreation management as student-athlete on the women's rowing team. She received her master's degree in sports administration from UC in 2017.
