CINCINNATI – High academic honors continue to pour in for University of Cincinnati student-athletes as a record 355 individual Bearcats were named American Athletic Conference All-Academic for the 2019-20 season and five teams in total collected AAC Team Academic Excellence Awards. The awards add to recent days in which four Bearcats were named their sport's respective AAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

// TEAM AWARDS
The team awards are presented to the program with the highest cumulative GPA in the league for each particular sport with the Bearcats securing five accolades for the second year in a row and tying the most the Department has collected in one academic year. The Bearcats garnered the second-most of any school in the league as Wichita State earned seven in total. • Women's basketball and women's golf both earned their first awards from the AAC with both also earning the first for the sport, men and women, at UC.
• Lacrosse, in its second year as a member of the AAC, also captured the award for the second year in a row.
