CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati's 2020 football game against ECU will now be played on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020 inside Nippert Stadium, the American Athletic Conference announced Thursday.
Game time and TV opportunities will be announced when available.
The game was originally scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 12. There is a possibility the game will be moved to Friday, Nov. 13 if the UC home basketball game scheduled for that evening inside Fifth Third Arena does not take place. Game time and television opportunities will be announced 12 days prior to kickoff per AAC policy.
UC returns 16 of 22 starters on the offensive and defensive side of the ball, 55 letterwinners and 13 of the team's top 15 tacklers from the 2019 team which won 11 games, the AAC East Division title and the Birmingham Bowl. The Bearcats ended the season ranked No. 21 in all three major polls, won 11 games for only the fourth time in the program's 132 seasons and had back-to-back 11-win seasons for only the second time in school history.
The Bearcats are currently set to open 2020 on Saturday, Sept. 19 against Austin Peay inside Nippert Stadium.
