Burton, originally from Cleveland, Ohio, comes to Clifton touted as a four-star recruit in the 2020 class by Prospects Nation and is listed as the No. 10 wing in the country in her class by ESPN. A 2018-19 All-Greater Houston First Team and All-State selection, Burton participated in the 2018 USA Basketball Women's U17 World Cup Team Trials.
"My main thing about coming to UC was the coaching staff," Burton said. "I had good relationships with every single one (of the coaches). When I finally got on campus and got an opportunity to see everything and got to meet the girls, it seemed like a family and that's what I really enjoyed about it."
Burton owns a diverse skillset that will help the Bearcats on both sides of the floor as a shooter, rebounder and defender.
"I'm very versatile," Burton said. "I can shoot it. I can take you down low and post you up. I'm also a rebounder, definitely a rebounder."
