TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati men's basketball senior guard Keith Williams was named to the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday.
Williams posted his first career double-double with a team-high 19 points and game-best 10 rebounds in UC's 75-70 road loss at UCF on Tuesday, Dec. 22. Williams also connected on a pair of threes and went 5 of 5 from the free-throw line.
A Preseason AAC First Team selection, Williams is averaging a team-high 15.1 points to go with 4.3 rebounds. His scoring average ranks seventh in the league entering this week.
It marks the second time the conference has recognized Williams' play. He was named to the AAC Weekly Honor Roll last season after scoring a career-high 30 points during a comeback win at USF (March 3).
