CINCINNATI – Former University of Cincinnati tight end Travis Kelce is headed to the Super Bowl for the second-straight season after the Kansas City Chiefs knocked off the Buffalo Bills, 38-24, on Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium.
Kelce and the Chiefs will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Super Bowl LV, set to take place in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.
One of the top tight ends in the NFL, Kelce finished with a franchise postseason record 13 catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns against the Bills and became the first tight end in NFL history to have five postseason games with 100 or more receiving yards. He finished the regular season with 105 catches for 1,416 yards and 11 scores, his fifth-straight 1,000-yard season. Kelce has 625 career receptions for 7,999 yards and 50 TDs. He ranks eighth all-time in receiving yards by an NFL tight end.

He was a standout performer at UC from 2008-12 and was selected by Kansas City in the 2013 NFL Draft with the first pick of the third round, the No. 61 choice overall. Since 2013, Kelce is a six-time Pro Bowler, five-time All-Pro and has five straight 1,000-yard receiving seasons.
