TicketsCINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati women's golf team plays in its second event of the spring Monday and Tuesday at the First Coast Classic hosted by North Florida at Deerwood Country Club in Jacksonville, Florida.
The 12-team, 54-hole tournament begins Monday with a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. ET. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com.
The field includes: North Florida, Western Kentucky, UAB, South Alabama, Arkansas State, Cincinnati, Bradley, Troy, Stetson, Daytona State, FIU and Georgia Southern.
LOOKING BACK AT THE LAST EVENT
The Bearcats opened their season by finishing fifth in the match-play portion of the Battle at Old South in Bluffton, South Carolina. Sadie Pan recorded three wins while Erin Evans earned two and a half victories.
The event marked UC's first competition since the COVID-19 pandemic halted the 2020 spring season following play at the UNF Collegiate on Mar. 10, 2020.

"We have had a couple days of good practice and feel as if we are as prepared as can be expected," UC head coach Janet Carl said. "Rain has saturated the golf course and conditions will be a factor the next few days.
"We are learning more and more about this team each day and are seeing some great work out on the golf course. The course requires a lot strategic planning and placement especially with the course conditions. The team is ready to test themselves against a strong field. Looking to see transfer Katie Hallinan and freshman Carmela Simon Prieto compete for the first time as Bearcats."
