CINCINNATI - The University of Cincinnati soccer team will get its 2021 season underway Sunday, facing UCF at 1 p.m. ET at the UCF Soccer Complex in Orlando, Florida.
The Bearcats original season opener last weekend against Memphis was postponed to later in the season due to inclement weather in Cincinnati. UCF is 1-0 on the season after beating Temple on Sunday, Feb. 14 in Philadelphia, knocking off the Owls 3-0.

UC last played a regular season game on Nov. 3, 2019, a span of 475 days. The Bearcats have played a pair of exhibition games, at Miami (OH) and against crosstown rival Xavier.
Head Coach Neil Stafford starts his seventh year at the helm of the program and features a new-look staff this season with assistant coaches Rich Wall and Caroline Kelly along with volunteer assistant Bryce Hueber.
Defender Ashley Barron and Forward Sophie Gorman were tabbed for Preseason All-American Athletic Conference honors. Both were First-Team All-AAC selections in 2019 while Barron also earned a spot on the league's All-Rookie Team.
Also returning are leading scorer Han Tang (5g), Vanessa DiNardo (2g, 2a), Camryn Hartman (2g, 1a), Ying Zhan (1g, 3a) and starting goalkeeper Madison Less (57s, 6 clean sheets) who played all but 11:18 in 19 2019 games.
