- Cincinnati had missed six consecutive games (one later rescheduled) due to COVID-19 protocols, took a limited roster to Temple and pulled out 63-60 victory on Thursday. It was UC's first game in 25 days.
- Keith Williams needs nine points to become the 54th member of UC's 1,000-point club. He entered Saturday tied for sixth in the league in scoring, averaging 15.0 points this season. He also ranks among league leaders in steals (11th at 1.3) and blocked shots (T14th at 0.7).
- David DeJulius poured in a career night at Temple on Thursday with 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting with four 3-pointers and three steals. He enters the weekend ranked among AAC leaders in assists (2nd at 5.1) and assist-to-turnover ratio (3rd at 2.5-to-1). He ranks nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (46th) and assists average (52nd).
- Jeremiah Davenport ranks second on the team in scoring over UC's past eight games, averaging 12.1 points and 5.8 rebounds while shooting 45.5 percent (35 of 77) from the field with a team-best 14 3-pointers. He has scored in double figures in five of the eight contests.
- John Brannen is one of six active coaches in the nation to have won a conference regular-season championship in each of the past three seasons (Northern Kentucky [2018, 2019], Cincinnati [2020]).

Keith Williams added 15 points. Jeremiah Davenport contributed 14 points and a team-high seven rebounds. It marked UC's first game in 25 days following six postponed games.
- Tulane suffered a 75-67 loss at Wichita State on Wednesday. Jordan Walker led the Green Wave with 23 points and a trio of 3-pointers.

- He nearly recorded a double-double at SMU (1/7), grabbing a career-high nine rebounds and handing out a career-high 12 assists with three turnovers.
- The 12 assists were the most by a Bearcat since Steve Logan dished out a school-record 16 assists vs. Coppin State during the 2001-02 campaign. DeJulius becomes only the sixth Bearcat in school history to record 12 or more assists in a game.

- Since the start of AAC play, Davenport ranks among the AAC leaders in defensive rebounds (8th at 5.0), rebounds (9th at 6.3) and scoring (20th at 10.8).
- Tulane features a pair of players averaging double-digits in scoring in Jaylen Forbes (15.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.7 steals) and Jordan Walker (13.5 points, 3.9 assists). The duo accounts for 54 of Tulane's 91 3-pointers.
