Cincinnati (9-9, 7-6 American) was originally scheduled to play American Athletic Conference foe SMU on Thursday but the contest was canceled Sunday morning due to a continuation of a suspension of activities in the Mustangs' program.
Tickets purchased for the previously canceled SMU contest will be valid for the Vanderbilt game. A limited number of additional tickets will be made available for sale to the general public Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. ET. UC leads the series with Vanderbilt 6-1, having won the last three meetings. The two teams last played in the first round of the 2009 Maui Invitational with the Bearcats claiming a 67-58 victory.
The Bearcats are coming off an 80-74 home loss to Memphis on Sunday. Vanderbilt (7-13, 3-11 Southeastern Conference) defeated Ole Miss, 75-70, in Nashville on Saturday. The Commodores play at LSU on Tuesday before coming to the Queen City.
