CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati men's golf team gets back into action Monday and Tuesday at the Spartan Collegiate at Sea Island hosted by Michigan State in Sea Island, Georgia. 

Sixteen teams will compete at the two-day, 54-hole event that takes place at the Plantation Course. 

Two rounds of play begin Monday with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET. Final-round action tees off Tuesday at 8 a.m. ET. Live scoring is available at GolfStat.com.

"After a month break we are very excited to have the opportunity to compete again at Sea Island," UC head coach Doug Martin said. "This is a new venue and we are excited for the challenge. This will be one of the best fields we play in all spring other than our conference championship and it will serve as a great measuring stick for our team."

LAST TOURNAMENT LOOK BACK
The UC men's golf team opened its spring season by finishing second in an eight-team field at the Oldfield Invitational in Bluffton, South Carolina. The Bearcats carded a 6-over par 858 score as five players finished in the Top 20 led by freshman Ty Gingerich (Russiaville, Ind./Guerin Catholic HS). He posted an 8-under 208 result to finish second in the individual standings. He recorded 15 birdies and 34 par scores in his first collegiate event, earning American Athletic Conference Player of the Week accolades.
