TicketsCINCINNATI – University of Cincinnati soccer player Camryn Hartman (Bay Village, Ohio / Magnificat) was named the American Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week and D Ashely Barron (Toledo, Ohio / Notre Dame Academy) and GK Anna Rexford (Wilmore, Ky. / West Jessamine) earned spots on the league's weekly honor roll; the conference announced Monday.
All three played key roles in the Bearcats 3-0 victory at Tulsa Sunday.
Hartman got things going in the 27th minute, scoring the eventual game winner after picking up the ball at midfield, dribbling to just outside the left of the 18-yard box and slotting the ball into the lower-right corner for the score.
Barron scored an absolute beauty off a corner kick from Karli Royer in the 37th minutes. Royer lofted the ball to a perfect spot and Barron headed it home and the Golden Hurricane keeper had no chance on the point-blank strike from a yard out.
Rexford and Barron anchored a UC back line which held the Golden Hurricane to three shots as the Bearcats controlled the possession through the run of play.
Rexford made two saves in the first half and picked up the first clean sheet of her career.

After playing its first two matches on the road, UC will gear up for a five-game homestand at Gettler Stadium, kicking off with a Thursday matinee against Notre Dame at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on ESPN+ with live stats also available.
