CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team opens American Athletic Conference play against Vanderbilt on Friday, March 19 and Sunday, March 21 inside Nippert Stadium.

CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati lacrosse team opens American Athletic Conference play against Vanderbilt on Friday, March 19 and Sunday, March 21 inside Nippert Stadium. 
 
Friday's match will have a 4 p.m. ET first draw while Sunday's matchup starts at noon. Both contests will air on ESPN+ with live stats also available.
 
Lacrosse will have an open attendance policy for home matches this season with all being Experience UC events. All fans are welcome to attend in a safe and socially distant manner. Masks are required at all times while on campus.
 
SERIES BUSINESS
  • Vanderbilt leads the all-time series 6-2 with the ledger in games played in Cincinnati tied at 2-2.
  • The two sides did not meet last year. UC won the last matchup, 18-15, on April 20, 2019, at Gettler Stadium.
ABOUT THE BEARCATS
  • Alyssa Adams (20), Kylie Nause (19) and Monica Borzillo (15) form a three-pronged attack which has scored 54 of UC's 81 goals through four games.
  • Adams is the reigning AAC Midfielder of the Week.
  • Borzillo, who owns most of UC's career offensive categories, has a team-best 14 assists.
  • Sam Mlkvy has registered 43 draw controls, including a school-record 15 in the opener against Marquette. She is UC's all-time leader in the category.
  • Adrianna Fess, one of three Fess triplets on the squad, has 16 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers.
  • Morgan Dukes was tabbed as AAC Preseason Co-Defensive POTY. She has totaled 11gb and 4ct.
  • Goalkeeper Kate Brocato has a .408 save pct. w/40 saves.
WE ARE FAMILY
  • UC has three sets of siblings on the team, including the Fess triplets (Adrianna, Alexandra, Amanda) and the Finotti (Jennie & Sophia) and Mlkvy (Dani & Sam) sisters.
ABOUT THE COMMODORES
  • The Commodores are riding a three-game winning streak, most recently earning a 20-13 win over Kennesaw State.
  • Vanderbilt's 20-goal output against Kennesaw State was the highest for the Dores this season. 
  • Senior attacker Gabby Fornia leads the nation with 22 assists on the season. 
  • GK Paige Gunning is tied for third nationally in saves (67).
  • Vanderbilt's only two losses this season are at No. 1 North Carolina and No. 2 Notre Dame.
