CINCINNATI – The University of Cincinnati tennis team is slated to host Butler University at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center, Saturday, April 3rd at 2 p.m. ET
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Bearcats are coming off a hard fought 7-0 loss against Memphis last Friday in their last American Athletic Conference matchup of the regular season.
 
Cincinnati dropped the early doubles point after Memphis claimed the first three doubles matches over the Bearcats.
 
UC pushed back to start singles play, claiming the first set in three matches. The Tigers went on to chip away in the second set with two matches ending in a 6-4 decision in Memphis' favor.
 
Following an accumulation of second set victories, both Memphis and Cincinnati edged out four third set decisions, ultimately landing in Tiger's favor, claiming a 7-0 sweep over the Beacats.
 
SENIOR SALUTE
On Saturday, Cincinnati tennis will honor its four seniors for their time and contributions to the program. Those four individuals include: Alexia Coutino, Kim Gintrand, Amanda Huser, and Caroline Morton.
 
The ceremony will take place at the Trabert-Talbert Tennis Center following the conclusion of Saturday's match.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Cincinnati and Butler have met a total of eight times in series history with the Bearcats holding a 7-1 advantage over the Bulldogs.
 
Currently on a seven-win streak, the Bearcats have claimed the most recent two matches on a 7-0 sweep.
 
The last time Butler secured a victory over the Bearcats was over a decade ago in 2010, where the Bulldogs edged out a 3-4 decision.
